Ingredients

100ml of water
1 handful of ice cubes
1/2 mango
1 banana
1 lemon
1 lime
This ice cold smoothie is perfect for a hot summer day, or any day in fact!

Instructions

1.Peel and remove stone from the mango and chop into pieces
2.Peel the banana and chop into pieces
3.Put the mango and banana into a blender or smoothie-maker container
4.Add the ice cubes and water
5.Cut the lemon and lime in half and squeeze the juice over the other ingredients
6.Blitz it all together and enjoy

This sweet and tangy iced mango smoothie is a great way to cool down on a hot summer day. Mangoes are an excellent source of vitamins A and C and bananas are an exceptional source of potassium (which lowers blood pressure). Both lemon and lime juice are loaded with vitamin C (to help the immune system), folate (said to reduce the risk of strokes) and antioxidants (which prevent cell damage). This smoothie not only tastes great, but is rich in vitamins and minerals to help you feel great too!
