Ingredients

50 ml of apple juice
1 kiwi fruit
1 handful of blueberries
1 tsp of goji berries
1 avocado
1 handful of spinach
1 tbsp of spirulina
1 tsp of honey
The super-duper super-food smoothie!

Instructions

1.Peel the avocado, remove the stone and chop into pieces
2.Peel the kiwi fruit and chop into pieces
3.Add the kiwi fruit, avocado, blueberries and spinach into a blender or smoothie-maker container
4.Add the goji berries, spirulina and drizzle over the honey
5.Pour in the apple juice
6.Blitz it all together and enjoy

We’re not sure this super-food smoothie could get any more super! Spirulina is packed with B vitamins, copper and iron – and gram for gram is up there with the most nutritiously “dense” foods on the planet. It contains omega-3 and omega-6 and the quality of protein is comparable with eggs! Add in the blueberries (vitamins C, K and manganese), spinach (lutein to help protect your eyes) and avocado (monounsaturated fats to help your heart) and this green monster will perk you right up!
