Ingredients

100 ml of pasteurised milk
1 handful of cranberries
1 handful of raspberries
1 handful of spinach
1 tsp of peanut butter
1 tsp of flax seeds
Put down the coffee and make this nutrient rich smoothie instead!

Instructions

1.Wash the spinach with water and chop into pieces
2.Add the spinach, cranberries and raspberries into a blender or smoothie-maker container
3. Add the peanut butter and ground flax seeds
4.Pour over the pasteurised milk
5.Blitz it all together and enjoy

Think of this smoothie like a little glass of pure energy. Raspberries contain a huge variety of nutrients and can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease – and cranberries are packed with vitamins and  powerful antioxidants. Spinach can help lower blood pressure and is one of the best sources of dietary magnesium – and peanut butter is packed full of monounsaturated fatty acids (for a healthy heart), very similar in its proportions to olive oil! Flax seeds are rich in omega-3 and fibre and help promote good digestive function, as well as lowering bad cholesterol and blood pressure! A great, healthy, energy rich smoothie for all.
